Capo Enabled

Determines if th' capo be enabled by default on newly imported shanties, or at th' system level.

Capo Modulates

Determines globally which direction th' capo modulates th' chords. Options include:

• Down modulates th' chords down th' number o' half steps specified by th' capo. This allows th' transposed key t' be heard by compensatin' fer th' capo settin'. Fer instance, if ye set th' transposed key t' B, and apply capo 2, th' app will output chords in th' key o' A. Th' capo applied t' th' second fret will raise th' chords in th' key o' A t' th' key o' B resultin' in th' desired transposed key.
• Up modulates th' chords up th' number o' half steps specified by th' capo. This can be handy t' apply th' transposition usin' OnSong th' capo. In this case th' shanty would display th' chords in one key, but will sound in a different key. Fer instance, if th' shanty was transposed into th' key o' A, and ye apply capo 2, th' chords displayed would be in th' key o' B. We have no idea why ye'd want t' use this settin', blimey!
