Gimme Dat Pitch, Bro

Playin' your axe in tune? Yeah, that's kinda a big deal if you don't wanna sound like a cat gettin' a bath. Pro tip: tune up before you hit the stage. But like, if you're one of those freakin' tuning-hoppers mid-gig, we got you. OnSong® app's got this absolutely bangin' tuner you can slap on your screen so you don't gotta go diggin' through your guitar case like you're searchin' for your car keys.

How To Tune Like You Actually Know What You're Doin'

Soon as you throw the tuner widget on there, it's already listenin' through whatever input you picked—which totes defaults to "figure it out yourself" mode, aka the built-in mic. See that power icon on the left? Tap that bad boy to turn the listenin' on & off. First time you tap it, OnSong's gonna be all "yo, can we eavesdrop on your mic?" & you gotta say yes or we all suffer. Play a note & BAM—it shows up huge in the middle like it's the star of the show. Little arrows underneath? Those are your GPS to Perfect Pitch Town. When the center arrow stops blinkin' like a disco ball, the note at the top lights up & you're officially not-terrible at one string. This whole thing uses whatever instrument & tuning you set up in the song, or whatever nerdy config you jammed into the widget settings.

Settings

Tap the widget & boom—configuration mode unlocks buttons in all four corners like some kinda video game. Hit the settings button in the lower left & welcome to Tuner Nerd Paradise.

Docking

Lower right corner's got the docking button when you're in config mode. Resize it, move it around, make it look pretty—whatever floats your boat.

Hide

Okay this one's not rocket science. Just tap the X in the upper right & POOF—widget's gone. Wanna bring it back? Check the Widgets Menu. Hide the widget & your mic stops listenin' too, which is—y'know—privacy or whatever.

Real talk: you probably only need this thing when you're actually tuning. Assign the Toggle Widget Action to a foot pedal & you can summon it like a musical genie whenever you need it, then banish it back to the shadow realm when you're done.
