Chord

Text-based chord charts allow chords t' be detected within sections o' songs. Arrr! Use this category o' actions t' play th' chords o' th' selected section usin' MIDI t' add ambience t' yer set.

• Off stops MIDI notes generated by OnSong from playin'.
• Previous plays th' previous chord in th' currently section relative t' th' last chord played. This will cycle t' th' last chord o' th' section if needed, matey.
• Next plays th' next chord in th' currently selected section relative t' th' last chord played. If no section be selected, OnSong will select th' first section o' th' song. Once th' last chord o' th' selected section be played, playback returns t' th' first chord in th' section.
• Repeat will repeat th' current chord again. This can be useful in conjunction with sound patches that have attack, or t' stop th' trailin' effects o' a designed sound, ye scallywag.
• Vary will change th' variation o' th' chord t' be played. OnSong uses th' notes found in th' instrument for th' song. For instance, if ye have selected guitar for th' song, OnSong plays th' chord diagram selected for that chord. Th' vary action will move t' th' next variation o' th' chord in th' current instrument.

Velocity

Changes th' velocity o' MIDI notes that be played.

• Adjust continuously adjusts th' velocity t' use when playin' MIDI notes through OnSong.
